  • José Luis Núñez nace en Espartinas (Sevilla) en 1943. Ha conseguido distintos galardones, destacando el Accésit del Premio Adonais en 1970 y el Premio Guipúzcoa en 1973. Fue cofundador y director de la colección «Aldebarán». Considerado como una de las más prestigiosas voces del panorama literario español, ha publicado los siguientes libros: Las fronteras del desertor (Barcelona, 1965), Los motivos del tigre (Madrid, 1971), Luz de cada día (Sevilla, 1972), La larga sombra del eclipse (Sevilla, 1972), S.O.S. Sur (Sevilla, 1974), Dormido Paraíso (Madrid, 1978), Mediums (Accésit del Premio Internacional Álamo, 1976).;En esta nueva antología, se incluyen poemas del libro inédito Al paso alegre de la paz. Ha sido antologado numerosas veces y parte de su obra ha sido traducida a diferentes lenguas. Fallece tempranamente en 1980 en plena creación literaria y su pueblo le rinde homenaje rotulando con su nombre una calle y una biblioteca.
