  • Arnau de Límena va néixer a finals del segle XII. Va ser monjo i abat del monestir benedictí de Santa Justina de Padua. Es va dedicar a envigorir espiritualment la comunitat i a promoure la vida comuna dels monjos. Va passar vuit anys injustament tancat a la presó durant els quals es va mantenir fidel a la seva vocació de monjo, pregant i exercint com a home pietós i pacient. Va morir l’11 de febrer de 1255 a la presó del castell d’Asolo.
