Abstract In this work are collected several works that analyse from different points of views, the consequences of the generic differences of the masculine and feminine roles in the identity conformation, the experiences related to it (sexuality, maternity, paternity…) and in the physical and/or psychic make-ill mode of women and men. Such analysis gives evidence that those perspectives are basic when dealing with any problem of the health-illness process from an overall vision.
