(Brasso, 1899 – París, 1984) Fotógrafo francés de origen húngaro y formación autodidacta. Debutó con fotos nocturnas de París en los años treinta. Trabajó en estudios de artistas (Matisse, Miró), perteneció al movimiento Nueva Objetividad y realizó reportajes para las revistas Minotaure o Harper´s Bazaar. Fue nombrado Caballero de las Artes y las Letras en Francia (1974) y Premio Nacional de Fotografía (1975).
